Genuinely useful to receive
- A colour that looks wrong. Floss colours on screen are read from DMC’s photos of each skein. If a number’s colour is clearly off against the real thread, tell us which number.
- A chart that misbehaved. The fabric count, the width in stitches, the colour count and a rough description of the photograph are usually enough to reproduce exactly what you saw.
- Fabric counts we do not list. If you stitch on evenweave or linen rather than Aida, or on a count we do not offer, say which.
- Printing. If a printed chart came out too small to follow, tell us the paper size and the stitch size you picked.
Not something we can do
We do not sell thread or fabric, and cannot identify a floss colour from a photograph of it.
